The first major dump of the season has just hit the mountains with Lake Mountain getting more of the white stuff than Baw Baw and Buller – Sweet. With the school holidays well underway the snow cover at Lake Mountain remains excellent for the toboggan crowd. Hats off to young Curtis McConchie. The 10 year old did us proud by beating all in the days toboggan races. His secret? A combination of laws of Physics and one of our carve toboggans. Well done dude. Now it’s the skiers time. Good cover on upper trails and a few getting out. Lianne caught me trying to sneak out of the shop. Damn it.
